Czech cuisine is not exactly a synonym for healthy cooking, but everybody will probably find some meals they'll love.

 

It may be the potato soup, the traditional roast pork with dumplings and sauerkraut, the fruit filled dumplings, or the apple strudel.

 

French Restaurant

Located inside the Municipal House. It is known as the most beautiful Art Nouveau restaurant in Europe. Restaurant offers traditional and French cuisine. A live pianist completes the atmosphere, playing gently in the background every evening.

Havelska Koruna  recommended  traditional eating house

Spacious and stylish interior, which is divided into five sections, welcomes the guest after entering the restaurant. At first there is a section of sweet dishes and salads. Then there is a section of soups, followed by a section of traditional Czech cuisine and last but not least a section of tap beer.

This restaurant is situated near Wenceslas Squere and is a traditional Czech pub sytle restaurant. Honest Czech food at good price.

Plzenska Beer Hall Restaurant

Plzenska Restaurant in Prague is situated inside of Municipal House. Restaurant was named after the famous Czech beer Pilsner Urquell. In this restaurant you can enjoy good Czech traditional cuisine presented with style.

U Fleku Beer Hall Restaurant & Brewery

The first written reference with respect to the U Fleků brewery dates back to 1499, when the building was purchased by Vít Skřemenec, a malt house owner. (Columbus discovered America in 1492.) The U Fleků brewery is the only brewery in Central Europe which has been brewing beer for 500 straight years. When communists came to power the business was nationalised and after the fall of the communist regime the restaurant and the brewery were returned to the original owners in 1991, the Brtník family. It is one of the oldest, largest and prominent beerhouses in Prague and the entire country. For some people, it is a symbolical pilgrim’s place for beer fans and Czech cuisine gourmets.
