The eleventh edition of Prague Museum Night will take place on Saturday 14 June, 2014 from 7.00 p.m to 1.00 a.m. and will include free admission and transport.

During the past ten years, the Prague Museum Night has become one of the most significant and outstanding events of Prague cultural and social life. There will be 39 museums, galleries and other cultural institutions participating this year, opening 68 unique buildings. The Prague Museum Night also offers a multitude of exceptional events to accompany: concerts, recitals, theatre performances, movies, guided tours, curiosities, lectures, public readings, discussions, etc. There are museums ranging from ancient Bohemian artefacts, mechanical relics from the Industrial Age, the stimulating history of coffee, to contemporary art that will make you question reality, thus, each of them is worth visiting in its own right, depending on your interests.

Admission to all sites which take part in the Museum Night will be free, with the exception of Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument – their admission fee is required.

During this night, specific bus lines will be provided between the sites of Prague Public Transport Co. Thus, free travel is limited to these special transport lines only, labelled "MUZEJNI NOC".

The Central point for all information regarding this particular night and transfer point is Náměstí Jana Palacha, where visitors can request all information, brochures with maps of bus lines, and a list of all monuments that will be open.

From past experience, we can advise you that before the morning, you will definitely take home a truly amazing experience. However, all museums in the city will be quite crowded and queued. The City center and its evening of open-house museums will become an anthill of displaced groups of people.

...but the night is too short! If you have more time, we can offer you a day tour upon your request, for example, to the most visited museum of Prague, The Jewish Museum , comprised of 6 different buildings!
